What is a Colorado apostille, and why would I need one?
A Colorado apostille is a certificate issued by the Colorado Secretary of State that authenticates a notarized or official document for use in another country that is part of the Hague Apostille Convention. Common reasons include studying abroad, international adoptions, using marriage or birth certificates overseas, and conducting business internationally.
Where are you located, and why does it matter for Colorado apostilles?
We are less than half a mile from the Colorado Secretary of State in downtown Denver. This proximity allows us to hand-deliver documents and often complete the apostille process faster than other providers.
How long does it take to get a Colorado apostille?
Turnaround times depend on the service level and the Secretary of State’s workload. Since we are a few blocks away from the Colorado Secretary of State we do daily submissions and pickups.

Do my documents need to be notarized before getting a Colorado apostille?
Most documents submitted for a Colorado apostille must first be notarized or certified. If your documents still need notarization, you can bundle this step with our concierge apostille services, which include notarization, pickup, and delivery for added convenience.
Can you help if my document is for a country that doesn’t accept Colorado apostilles?
Yes. If the country is not part of the Hague Apostille Convention, your document may need authentication or legalization instead. While we are not attorneys or legal advisors, we will do our best to guide you through the correct steps for your destination country and point you to the proper resources when needed.
